I was very pleased to be on the Photokina this year. I spend very nice week in Germany. As many people i was waiting for new Canon 5D MKII.

Well it is nice. It has nice features, big screen - everything except new AF system which I was hoping.

I am currently using 5D and I was hoping for improved AF system. Too bad.

I wanted to get a RAW picture on my card, but the CF slots were covered with black tape. The guy told me that all the cameras were prototypes.

Yesterday the box with recently added faces was filled and today there are 91 faces.

I also received some good feedback from few people - thanks a lot. I promised to thank the Stockwells family for putting link to my website. I appreciate it.
Any help in spreading the word about my project is very welcomed.

It’s now few days after the project has started so I thought it’s a good time to share some news with You. First of all I would like to thank for the comments I received on forums.

There are now 57 faces added. I hope to see a lot more in next days. The visitors stats of the project is very promising.

I also noted first information about my project in the media ( www.commarts.com ). I wish there was more of that.

Another great news is that my friend liked my Million Faces Project idea that he offered to fund another prize. It’s going to be an Ipod. I will post more details about it in the near future.

Today I start my project - Million Faces Project. It’s been a while since I started to work on it but it’s finally on. I hope You will like my idea. It’s actually a project that combines my two passions - design and photography. My main aim is to get one million faces and build big poster made from the faces. I haven’t decided yet if it will be paper or Internet poster.

The website it’s self is made to work easy for visitors so everyone can submit their face without any tools - everything is done on the website ( uploading, croping face from the bigger image etc )
